Lime Powder Storage Silo

Lime is an air-hardening inorganic gelling material mainly composed of calcium oxide. Lime is made of products with high calcium carbonate content such as limestone, dolomite, chalk, and shells, which are calcined at 900-1100°C. The raw materials of lime are widely distributed, the production process is simple, and the cost is low. It is also an important raw material in the building material industry. Quicklime (including lump ash and quicklime powder) has strong water absorption and hygroscopicity. It should be protected from moisture and must be stored in a dry, cool and ventilated environment. It should be stored separately from flammable (combustible) materials, acids, etc., and should not be stored together. Storage areas should be equipped with suitable materials to contain spills.
