How To Feed Cement Into Steel Silo

1. Confirm the steel silo number, and after close the silo bottom gate and silo wall gate, then open silo roof gate and feeding system.
2. Feeding cement power from center hole in order to keep cement into silo vertically. Aslant feeding is forbidden, which will cause steel silo collapse, so cement feeding is important.
3. Generally, the cement steel silo is installed with level monitor, once the feeding reaches max height, which level monitor will alarm in order to keep silo safety. If the level monitor is not installed, operator shall make records manually. According to cement silo experience, max feeding level is below height of cement steel silo top 200mm.
4. Lighting and electric equipment inside steel silo shall accord with explosion-proof requirements. When feeding cement, flame or spark is forbidden to appear.
5. During cement feeding, operator shall keep air vent of steel silo roof open to reduce the dust concentration of steel silo wall or it may cause silo collapse.
6. During feeding process, operator is forbidden to go into steel silo. If needs someone go into steel silo,, the feeding is shall stop immediately and after the dust concentration reduce allowed scope, steel silo is available to go into.
7. When feeding finish, keep the feed gate close.
