Do you know why the cement steel silo will agglomerate?
We all know that cement will agglomerate in a humid environment. If the temperature and humidity of the cement steel silo are not up to standard, the cement steel silo will also agglomerate.
First, let’s analyze the cause of cement caking
Cement agglomeration is caused by the pre-hydration of the cement. By analyzing the factors of the steel silo, we found that under normal circumstances, if the steel silo has experienced heavy rain before being put into use after construction, and there is water seepage phenomenon, then the steel silo may be agglomerated in the later stage. In addition, Of course, there are other factors. For example, the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the steel silo is large, and the moisture in the air in the warehouse condenses to cause cement agglomeration. If drizzle rain enters the silo through the bottom of the steel silo, this situation will also occur if the silo is wet.
So how do we solve this situation?
1. The cement entering the storage should try to avoid entering only half of it, so as to reduce the height of condensation water attached to the wall of the storage.
2. Shorten the storage time of cement in winter. And carry out artificial blast in the warehouse to maintain the activity of the cement.
3. The dust collection equipment on the top of the steel silo should be in a normally open state to increase the exhaust of hot air in the silo.
4. Carry out heat preservation treatment on the surface of steel silo.
5. The most important thing is to do basic waterproof work.
